Chris ScottHanson

A development consultant since 1981, Chris has a broad range of experience in all aspects of multifamily housing, from land acquisition through construction. His Cohousing experience began in 1989 with the founding of and land acquisition for the Winslow Cohousing project on Bainbridge Island.

Currently, Chris is specializing in the front end planning for groups hoping to use an advanced version of the Streamlined Development Model.

Chris has special skills in land acquisition. For some reason he seems to be able to find land where others have not succeeded. He's good at setting up the relationship with a local developer so that it protects the group and their special cohousing interests.

Chris can provide you with project budgeting, feasibility analysis, complete project management. Since 1988 he has assisted more than 35 cohousing groups across the country with all aspects of the cohousing development process.
